Experience Peru through Cultural Immersion
Machu Picchu, The Sacred Urubamba Valley, Olltaytambo Village then to Lake Titicaca
This program is limited to a small group of up to ten people. The first half of the journey will be in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Olltaytambo. The second half will be on Lake Titcaca We will base first in Cusco, then the Sacred Valley then venture to Richard Cari's home on the island of Amantani on Lake Titicaca.
Mountain Spirit Institute offers this program for those interested
in an out-of-the-ordinary traveling experience... one that impels
you to think differently about the world around you. We believe that in order to travel well, its important
to shift your perspective to see how others live and think in
their world. Our mission is to facilitate this process through
intercultural experiences, reconnecting to the earth, each other
and self, by encouraging patience, tolerance and compassion.
This 14-day experience will
provide a unique insight into the wonders, people and culture
of Peru. You'll learn from the experience of intercultural immersion,
sharing your time and yourself with the Peruvians of Cusco, the
Sacred Urubamba Valley and the island of Amantani on Lake Titicaca.
Our Peru expedition is open
to a group of up to ten. You may assemble of a group of your own or let us put the group together. This is perfect for those who are:
- Enthusiastic about visiting unfamiliar cultural surroundings
and learning from these experiences.
- Informed of the program's expectations, philosophy and itinerary.
- Motivated to participate in the culture
- Willing to learn some Spanish or Quechua.
