Overview

Join us for a two-week program with a wonderful woman championing indigenous women’s rights in the surrounding towns and villages of Ollantaytambo.

You will stay with Señora Anna Sequeiros in the village of San Isidro in the Sacred Valley. Anna’s small Pension Pitusalla will be our base as you learn organic farming, weaving, cooking over a fire and many other important skills.

Of course, visiting Cusco, Machu Picchu and other important archeological sites along with some easy day hikes will be part of the program.

Julio and Silvia practice Andean philosophy in their daily lives and business:

MUNAY- principle of love. Their experience has taught them that they can help to build our country providing opportunity with tourism to reduce poverty.

YACHAY, the principle of wisdom, allows them to continually improve their team through “update training,” to respond to the needs of our foreign participants.

With LLANKAY, the principle of work, Julio and Silvia share their experience with cultural immersion and volunteer projects, providing opportunities to enrich and create new alternatives in the world by helping the people with local benefits and taking care of the environment.

Randy Richards, MSI Executive Director, as well as Silvia and Julio Del Aquila will be active in certain aspects of the program, and local Q’ero Shamans, will be present for many portions of the program.
